All you need is a full lake/ deeper water. issue solved. Tell our Supervisors. Who knows on Konocti, maybe someone will come along and buy it.

If all we need is more water in the lake then we could wait a long time.It sounds like passing the buck.If some local people can clean up along their own water front, why can;t it be done all over?
I guess it is not bad enough yet for people to band together and solve the problem.Let How about the city councle going to Clear lAKE OAKS AND SMELL THE STUFF.

Been there, done that, on clean-up with a few people. Then the county came along and asked if we had a permit to do so. It will take this lake to become a swamp, then maybe they will think about doing something. Maybe not, the environmentalists will take over.

Noticed this weekend in the SF Chronicle article concerning the latest CA state water bill. http://tinyurl.com/ylpovlh Among the "pork" they mention is $100M ea for both Tahoe and the Salton Sea, plus $20M more for the Salton Sea tributary, the New River. As I previously mentioned, Tahoe gets a good amount of money from the Feds, but some of that may need to be matched with local funding. But I continue to be amazed at the amounts spent for the Salton Sea. It is unquestionably an ecological nightmare but IMO is very unlikely to see substantial restoration and more likely will be in a holding action for generations. If only Clear lake had a strong an advocacy. === Had an opportunity to attend a lecture by local educator and lake authority Dr. Lyons on last Friday. Even with as much knowledge as I've acquired over these many years, there is always more to discover. I recommend his entertaining lectures to anyone wanting to learn about the lake.

Your knowledge appears on the level with MIA, which is zip shiet zero. You are in constant denial on how bad shape the lake is in. Now the colder weather is here, the subject goes on the back burner. Face it, the lake is a toxic dump cesspool collection for heavy metal residue, septic leech drainage, ag chemical leeching and phytotoxins.

Lets face it "Donna Christ" you are stuck in Lake county because you were forced out of every other place you have lived. You are sick and maybe sipping the mercury at your end of the lake explains some of your recent rantings. If you hate everyone and everything in our county why can't you pick up and move? Oh... you are Mitchell's date? Perdock's dog? Judge Mann's boy? Lo siento. The Algae is a natural process of Clear Lake and Dr. Lyons is interesting? I am sure he is. You, on the other hand, post in OCD loops. Get help or just get out. Either will be a step in the right direction.

You are delusional and just plan crazy on your false sense of entitlements, when in actuality you are a scared little dweeb! Face facts. It's over for you and you wil be left out in the cold soon. That must scare you more than anything. What goes around comes around and the anticipation must be killing you. I, on the other hand, think I will take off the rest of the day and go sailing.
