Illness Strikes 17 Kasota Apartment Residents
Health officials are trying to trace the source of gastro-intestinal illness that sickened 17 residents of a Kasota apartment building.
The illness struck tenants in seven of eight units at Valley View Apartments over the weekend.
Five people had to be taken by ambulance to the St. Peter Hospital, while others were driven to the hospital by family or friends. All were treated and released.
The only tenants who were spared were a woman and her small child. The woman says she doesn't mingle with the other tenants or visit their apartments. Read more
