At the May 28 regular meeting of the Karnes City City Council, the council discussed moving forward with plans to restart and restore the Karnes City Animal Control.

Reptiles and magic at the Karnes City Library
Tim Cole with the Austin Reptile Service will be bringing his "Snakes of Texas" program to the Karnes City Public Library Thursday, June 13 at 10:30 a.m. Mr. Cole will be bringing both venomous and nonvenomous species, including cottonmouths, Mexican milk snakes, coral snakes, copperheads, rat snakes, diamondback rattlesnakes, etc.

The Karnes City ISD board of trustees approved repairs to be made to the high school gym floor, as well as reviewed financial matters relating to stipends and wage increases, during the May 20 regular school board meeting.
