Graveside services for Warren Lee Canada, 75, of Springfield, Illinois, will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, October 15, 2012, at the Woodville Cemetery in Kevil, Ky., with the Rev.

Wallace L. "Wally" Goins, 81, of Karnak, Ill., was called home to be with the Lord at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 4, 2012, at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah, Ky.

I've always said that there are advantages to living in a small town. In the tiny Pulaski County village of Karnak, Ill.; the very size of the community may very well have saved the life of one of its youngest residents.
