Flash Flood Warning issued early Monday for Kansas City area
Continued rainfall early Monday east of Topeka, including numerous slide-offs from vehicles traveling in that area, has prompted the National Weather Service to issue a Flash Flood Warning for the Kansas City vicinit. The weather service said the Flash Flood Warning will remain in effect until 7 a.m. for Wyandotte, Miami and Johnson countiesd in Kansas, along with western Cass, Clay, eastern Platte and Jackson counties in Missouri.
