Christmas tree permits still can be purchased for three of Arizona's national forests, but they're selling out quickly.

SPRINGERVILLE As of November 22, Christmas tree cutting permits are available for five of the six national forests in Arizona: Apache-Sitgreaves, Coconino, Kaibab, Prescott and Tonto.

Williams-Grand Canyon News FREDONIA, Ariz. - Christmas tree-cutting tags for the North Kaibab Ranger District of the Kaibab National Forest went on sale yesterday, and trees may be cut as soon as a tag has been purchased.
