Maryland State Police are investigating a crash that happened around 1:15 a.m. Sunday morning on Philadelphia Road and Gunpowder Ridge Road. When firefighters and paramedics arrived they found a crash involving a motorcycle.

Abingdon motorcyclist killed in Joppa early Sunday

An Abingdon man was killed in a motorcycle crash in Joppa early Sunday morning, the fourth fatal crash on Harford County roads since Friday. Bernard Cross, 52, of the 700 block of Perthshire Place in Abingdon, was riding a Harley Davidson FXDB east on Route 7 near Mandeville Lane, Maryland State Police reported.

Police investigating three-vehicle crash in Joppa; Route 152 closed

Maryland State Police were investigating three serious motor vehicle accidents late Friday night, including two within a mile of each other in Joppa. A duty officer at the Bel Air Barrack said late Friday night he couldn't provide any information because troopers were still investigating three crashes; he wasn't able to provide any information on the third crash.
