People do it because it is an addiction..A very serious addiction that shouldnt be taken lightly..Once you are addicted to the drug you will do anything go get high..It dosent take rocket science to figure it out..Meth or any drug is not something that should be taken lightly..I do not agree with people selling their food stamp to get drugs because normally they are taking food out of childrens mouths but until you have delt with that addiction then you have no way of knowing how much it will affect you and your life, you will do things to get the drug that you would NEVER do if you were sober..I wish that people wouldnt ask silly questions like this but I am a recovering addict and I know how bad addiction ruin your life and cause you to do stupid things..I pray for all those who still suffer from addiction and hope that you will get help..Some people think it is impossible but I am living proof you can do it, It is very hard but if you put your mind to it "WITHOUT DRUGS" the sky is the limit!

I told you to stop calling yourself that 'B' word. It doesn't sound nice. The younger females are watching you older, young ladies. Now on to equally important things.

Illegal drugs more often than not, will ruin one's life. So my ignorance abounds in the fact that young, very young children are taught to say 'NO' to drugs. You were taught that, so why did you start in the first place? Did you think it couldn't possibly happen to you? I want to know why kids start using drugs. Actually, I think the more they hear us telling them to say 'NO' to drugs, the more inquisitive they become. The harder something is to get, also, the more we want it. Take diamonds, gold, and marble, for example. It really saddens me to see kids who were so good and smart end up on drugs. Uh-oh, now someone's going to say FUN is slacking. Well, forget it cuz she ain't. Picking out well-mannered, smart kids isn't difficult to do; you just observe them OUT in public.

It's not just white people selling their food stamps for meth...the black people do it too (maybe not for meth but they sell 'em too-I know this for fact). I don't have food stamps, but I know if I did I sure as hell wouldn't sell them! WTF it's free food & you don't have to pay taxes on it???? The gov't gives you all the oportunities in the world to better yourselves but you chose to use those in the wrong way & hender yourself instead of helping yourself do better. Last time I checked you can get housing, a utility check, food stamps, day care, and they'll give you a TEA ck once a month all for free! If I had all those options I wouldn't have to worry about anything, sucks to be a hard worker and pay taxes for sorry as people to abuse the system!

You know what I am not going to argue with you on this point because it is pointless..You are another one of those "I am perfect" people that get on here and criticize everyone else when you have faults of your own, you may not have ever done drugs but you are a SINNER so just remember that when you are judging others..you are right doing drugs in the first place is stupid but it does happen, we are human and we arent perfect. I wish now I would have never done the first crumb of drugs but I did and I have learned the hard way from my mistake and now I am doing great..So dont get on here to down people..If you dont have anything nice or uplifting to say then just dont say anything at all..Posts like yours just make every forum a waste!

I don't think the person was judging. S/he was, I think, just making a statement-the same statement that schools make to elementary children every year. You still haven't told me why you think young people start using drugs in the first place. I honestly want to know. I am so glad you are off of them. The only high you need is from GOD, and what a high it'll be.

People start using drugs for many reasons. It's the same as not having protected sex--the repercussions are known, but many have bad judgement and make the wrong decision to use them anyway. The reasons range anywhere from simple curiosity, to looking for an escape. Although many of us know that God is the answer, the escape, many people use drugs to take them away from reality, so that they don't have to deal with the ghosts that haunt them, for whatever reason. Then, like I said, many use them simply out of curiosity, or for recreation. The unfortunate part is that whatever the reason, people become addicted to most of the drugs that they use. Baddest Bitch, I commend you. I have addicts in my family that are still struggling with addiction, and being able to conquer that addiction was probably one of the hardest things you have had to do. To all that have fought and won that battle, my hats off to you, and may the Lord continue to bless you. For those still struggling, never give up. It can be done!

Pretty, you have a style about you that I like. You have bone in your back. I abhor pity parties, too. When you make your bed, you are the one who has to lie in it-lumpy, soft, or firm. We all might as well accept the consequences of our own choices. It's all about choices.

They get upset when certain folks dialogue with them even though they invited us ALL into the conversation. Once you post on topix, it's open to anyone who wishes to respond. Grown folks need to toughen their guts.

You sound like you are still on drugs, because drugs cause you to lose the ability to express compassion for others. And your comments display no compassion at all for anyone. Sounds like the drugs have turned you into a mean, hateful, vial, and vicious animal. Not very becoming of a young lady. Did you grow up in a drug induced enviornment? Were your parents poor drug addicts and did you learn this behavior from them? Or did you just make the decision, all on your own, to be a hateful and spiteful person? Either way, you display the traits of a hardcore addict. Do yourself a favor and check into rehab as soon as possible. Then maybe you can be the biggest baddest bitch. She has it going on. Kuddos to you BBB, keep up the good work.

She has no backbone at all. It takes a coward to be so cruel to others the way you two are doing. It takes a strong person like BB to admit that she has had a problem in the past and courage to try to warn others about the unforeseeable consequences of their use of drugs that can devastate your life and lives of your loved ones. Get off of her and take a good look in the mirror at yourselves. I'll bet you won't like what you see if you look long enough. Stay strong BB, these people are the weak ones. Sounds like they don't know how to take some constructive advise and put it to good use. We must pity them and pray for them.

Wise as I may be, that's one thing I don't think I'll ever understand. But, maybe I do see'nz hy I said it seems the more kids are told to say no to drugs, the more inquisitive they become. Like I've said many times, GOD had favor on me; but for HIS grace, it could be I. Since America wants GOD out of schools and most everything else, she'll have a tough row to hoe with drugs, as we see.

Daily Horoscope for January 3

Aries

There is a strong focus on career and parental matters today. You need to be cautious regarding your dealings with someone in authority - things may not be what they seem. This is also a good day to spend time with your partner. Communication in general should prove to be smoother sailing than usual so this would be an opportune time to discuss delicate matters with others. Good news in the evening is indicated.
