Weld County commissioners hold meeting to discuss communication center fees

Weld County commissioners want every agency that uses the county's dispatch services to pay their fair share of the cost. The board held on Wednesday the first of what commissioners say will be several discussions with police and fire chiefs and emergency medical providers across Weld in an attempt to reassess fees.

Chauncey Taylor, owner and general manager of the Johnstown fuel stop, restaurant and bakery that predates Interstate 25, said he has been working with TravelCenters of America for more than a year on the potential sale of the business.
