Sheriff Says Student 'Took His Own Life'

An armed Chuckey-Doak High School student who fled from the school Monday afternoon in a car after being brought to the school office later "took his own life," Sheriff Wesley Holt wrote in a email. The Greene County Sheriff's Department and other law enforcement agencies began a search for the 18-year-old student after he left the school grounds about 12:15 p.m. Monday.
