Amazing Photos: Firefighter Rappels Down 200-Foot Cliff to Save a Dog
A German Shepherd named Diamond went missing last Saturday in Jeremiah, Kentucky, and when a neighbor finally found her, she was in a no-good, very bad place -- nearly halfway up a 200-foot-cliff. Firefighters rescue dog from cliff in Kentucky
On Sunday, firefighters near Jeremiah, Ky., participated in a rescue effort to save a German shepherd who was stranded on a rocky cliff, reported Monday's WYMT News.
Dog rescued unhurt from cliff ledge in Letcher County
Lucy Combs of the Jeremiah community told WYMT-TV in Hazard her pet, named Diamond, had been missing since Saturday night.
