The machines involved in that case were skill games, not based solely on chance like the lottery.

Heh, I once cleaned out one of those stuffed animal dispensing machines. They jam them all in together but once you break them loose, you can get cheap teddies all day. I got like 18 in 24 tries. When I went back they'd adjusted the machine and packed them in really tight. So, it's a rip-off.

I personally like Lucky You. Have done VERY well there so lets keep it going! Its about as close to slot machines as it gets but still has that "skill" asset that sets it apart from slot machines. I say we get a Lucky You in Columbus!

If this is a game of skill what is poker and blackjack? It takes a helluva lot more skill to play those games so why not legalize all of it and just tax it. When is Ohio going to come out of the drak ages when it comes to legalizing gambling?

From what I understand, if you actually try to employ skill in blackjack, they take you out back and beat you up and ban you from the Casino.

Isn't our government pathetic, foisting gambling onto the population the way they have?

It's like the government ran the mob out of the gambling business so they could take it over. Hey, maybe the government is the new mob.

I USE TO GO TO THE PLAYERS CLUB IN DAYTON UNTIL IT GOT SHUT DOWN. NOW I DRIVE TO JEFFERSONVILLE AND VISIT LUCKY U. IT IS FUN AND RELAXING. SANITARY AND THE STAFF IS SO GREAT. IF PEOPLE DONT WANT TO PLAY THEN LET THEM STAY AT HOME BUT THAT DOESNT MEAN THAT THEY HAVE TO MESS IT UP FOR THE REST OF US. I WORK HARD FOR EVERYTHING THAT I HAVE AND IT IS MINE TO DO WHAT I PLEASE. I DONT APPRECIATE DRIED UP DEADBEATS RUINING MY FUN BY TAKING AWAY EVERYTHING. THEY ARE LITTERALLY KILLING OHIO AND RUNNING EVERYTHING AWAY FROM HERE.

THE DIFFERENCE IS THAT THE GOVERNMENT IS CRYING BECAUSE THEY HAVENT FOUND A WAY TO GET THEIR HANDS IN ON THE BIG MONEY. LOL IT IS ALL ABOUT THE GOVERNMENT FEELING LIKE THEY ARE NOT THE ONES GETTING THE BETTER DEAL OUT OF IT. SO THEY ROWL UP ALL THESE OLD GOATS THAT DONT DO NOTHING BUT CLEAN THEIR DENTURES AND GO TO CHURCH SO THEY CAN GET THEM ON THEIR SIDE BECAUSE THEY KNOW THAT THEY ARE THE ONES WHO GET THEIR CANES AND WALKERS OUT TO GO TO THE VOTING STATIONS WHILE THE YOUNGER GENERATION ARE TO BUSY HAVING FUN. IN ESSENCE, THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE. NEXT THEY WILL BE TRYING TO BAND PUBLISHERS SWEEPSTAKES FROM OHIO.(RIP ED MCMAHON)
