Teens Injured in Crash

Two teens were injured in a single-vehicle crash, Thursday. Fayette County Sheriff Vernon Stanforth says 16-year-old Natasha Goldsberry, of Jeffersonville, was driving on Old Route 35 near Creek Road when she lost control, hit a guardrail, and overturned the vehicle.

Jeffersonville businessman sentenced for tax fraud

Charles E. Watts Jr., 45, of Jeffersonville, was sentenced to one year and one day in prison, three years of supervised release, and ordered to pay $1.443 million in restitution to the Internal Revenue Service for trying to evade payment of employment taxes, according to the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Ohio and the IRS.
