On 12/13/2009 at approximately 2:39 PM Jasper County Sheriff's Office received a 911 call that a man had been shot at the Gateway Motel in downtown Kirbyville.

Three Galveston brothers charged with capital murder in Jasper County will be held in jail without bail, according to a Sheriff's spokesman there.
