On 12/13/2009 at approximately 2:39 PM Jasper County Sheriff's Office received a 911 call that a man had been shot at the Gateway Motel in downtown Kirbyville.

H1N1 vaccine available in Jasper, Newton Counties

The health district says the shots will be available at their offices in Jasper and Newton on Friday, December 4th, from 7:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. If vaccine is still available, the district says shots will be given at the same locations on Saturday, December 5th from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon.
