Local lawmakers go without pay on principle

The lawmakers should set an example for government belt tightening by cutting their pay and perks permanently.

They should cut their per diem expenses from 150 dollars a day back to 125 dollars and take a pay cut of some sort like 5 or 10 percent.

Maybe they should also cut the allowance for car leasing and start paying some of the costs of their medical benefits.

why are any of them getting paid , none are doing their job . try for once representing the people who are actually paying for your sorry butts , not the ones you pay off with my excessive taxes to get a vote ! less and less people are carrying the burden...how can that keep going on and when are you guys going to stand up to Washington and excert our state rights to protect the citizens of Pa. from an overbearing federal government ?
