A 42-year-old Jacksonville man was arrested and charged with murder in the killing of another man at a Baymeadows hotel Sunday night. Edgar Macklin Jr. is accused of shooting and killing Lloyd Williams at the Suburban Extended Stay hotel on Philips Highway near Baymeadows Road about 8:30 p.m. Police said witnesses saw Macklin leaving the scene in a green Volkswagen, and they gave police a license plate number.
