For decades the Daily Journal has been propaganda for the wealthy people in Tupelo who do not want competition. They do not want a small town to grow to a city. They do not want to lose power and see increased wages and costs they would have to pay. The stories are not the truth that the public is looking for. The stories are marketing for the rich businesses in town. There is no good in football or entertainment when people are in poverty.
Tupelo needs high paying careers that challenge the wealth leadership. The Daily Journel suppresses that information.

The Journal serves no purpose other than an excuse to waste McLean hard earned wealth. George managed nothing by blind committee and the same ole sex crowd wanting attention to their same ole sex arrangement as another chad choice in life.
#3 Monday Sep 3
They want to keep slavery and a misinformed public too ignorant to fight it.
#4 Monday Sep 3
Wonder who they got to write that story for them. Itís not the usual cut and paste, but it is the same ole toot their own horn bit. Everybody knows the djournal hasnít been about news since the old man passed.
#5 Tuesday Sep 4
The daily journal republishes the same old articles every year with their favorite native sons and the same old tales about anything that could sale another unread copy of the journal going in the garbage truck daily and hauled to increase Waste Management recycle profits. The daily journal is last thing to pay for in Tupelo. Ride the free bus and get a free daily journal.
