The 16-year-old girl reported missing Friday and the 19-year-old man she was with were located Monday evening.

16-year-old girl reported missing

A 16-year-old girl was reported missing at noon Friday. Brooke Olup of Ironsides last was seen around 1 a.m. Friday, said Diane Richardson, Charles County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman.

Neighbors are leery of plan for youth jail

Residents in western Charles County raised concern about a proposal to construct a juvenile detention center in Nanjemoy as state officials Tuesday afternoon met with commissioners to continue conversations about the project.
