A single-car crash near Ione on Thursday night critically injured the 21-year-old driver and earned him a drunken driving charge, according to Washington State Patrol.

The Washington State Patrol says an 82-year-old Ione man died and three other people were injured in a single vehicle collision that occurred 17 miles north of Cusick.
