2 robbers in SoCal jewelry theft crew each sentenced to up to 22 years in prison
Two men were sentenced to more than two decades in federal prison for their roles in a string of armed robberies at Southern California jewelry stores, prosecutors said Monday. Jameson Laforest, 26, of Inglewood, was sentenced Friday to 22 years and eight months in prison, and co-defendant Robert Wesley Johnson, 29, of Inglewood, was handed a 22-year term.
