My fiance and I lost our first dog to this fire on her first birthday. We heard her bark 4 times and we tried to go get her but the police officer wouldn't let us. We lost most of her photos too. There have been 4-5 fires at the Ocean Club in the last 12 months. Does anyone care? Why weren't we warned. We went on vacation and came home with out our beloved dog and $20,000 worth of personal belongings gone. This fire was very traumatic for us. It will take a long time for us to heal. Our lives have been turned upside down. Mulch around an all wood public building is not safe. We have heard that the management was warned about how unsafe this was. To save money and to put peoples lives in danger is WRONG!
