Mexican Independence Day celebrated in Chico
Mexican-Americans are lucky enough to celebrate two Independence days - The American holiday on July 4, and the Mexican one on Sept. 16. This year, Chico"s Mexican Independence Day celebration was held in the City Plaza, where thousands of people came to honor their Hispanic heritage.
