In recognition of the 75th anniversary of the founding of Little League in the U.S., the members of IB Posse, Imperial Beach's award winning sand sculpting team, created a beautiful sand sculpture at the Imperial Beach Little Leagu e Fields.

Family Mourns Dog Shot by Deputy
A San Diego County Sheriff's deputy shot and killed a dog in Imperial Beach Tuesday afternoon, after responding to a call of two aggressive dogs in the 1100 block of 14th St. Sheriff's officials say the deputy attempted to contain the dogs when one of them lunged at him, causing him to fear for his safety and shoot.
