Bond granted in sex abuse cases of Huntsville man once named 'evil twin' by sex offender brother

HUNTSVILLE, Alabama -- A Madison County judge has agreed to a defense request to set bond and also to hold separate trials for Brian Lucas, a Huntsville man charged in two sex abuse cases. Lucas' bond was set at $150,000 and Circuit Judge Donna Pate ordered electronic monitoring.

HUNTSVILLE, Alabama - Organizers of Huntsville's Downtown Street Food Gatherings appear to be settling on a permanent location for the wildly popular event. Downtown Huntsville Inc. CEO Chad Emerson said the monthly food truck rally - which has hopped between Cleveland Avenue, Fountain Row, Church Street and Monroe Street since its April debut - will return to Church Street this Friday night from 6-9 p.m. If food trucks aren't your thing, there will be plenty more free Friday night entertainment options in the center city, including a DJ-led block party on the Courthouse Square , live acoustic music outside the Clinton Row Project, and the new Downtown Cornhole Trail.

NASA's Orion spacecraft nears completion, ready for fueling

The Orion crew module, stacked atop its service module, moved out of the Neil Armstrong Operations and Checkout Building at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida on Sept 11. Orion was transported to the Payload Hazardous Servicing Facility at Kennedy where it will be fueled ahead of its December flight test. During the flight, Orion will travel 3,600 miles into space to test the spacecraft systems before humans begin traveling in Orion on future missions.
