If Newsday endorses a candidate then you know it is in your interests to vote against them. Of course they just love Frank's stand on using YOUR tax dollars to facilitate the illegal invasion of YOUR town. Why not. There are no consequences for these liberals who live in gated communities. If you want to be rid of the hiring hall then get rid of ALL of the incumbents. No matter what they say, if they are in office now, they support it with a wink and a nod. Dowler says the first thing he will do is close it down, let's give him a chance. We know nothing will change if we keep the same people who have already betrayed us to special interest groups.

BTW, how many illegals are working in Petrone's cousins restaurant? The one where they run the parking scam and charge you $25.00 for parking in their lot. Vote him out. How come they pave the road in front of my house every three years when there is nothing wrong with it? Does someone in the town government have a cousin who owns a paving company?

Wow, I guess I have been away from Long Island for a long time! When I left, Petrone was a Republican -- now he's a Democrat?

BTW, the Town does its own paving, or at least they did when I lived there. Superintendent of Highways is a 4-year terms, so its no coincidence that your road is paved every 3 years. My guess is you live in an area that votes heavily.

Daily Horoscope for December 20

Taurus

As Mars turns retro, emotional tension makes you feel as though you're walking on eggshells. The temperature has risen by several notches, making the situation at home more fraught. Better to clear the air quickly and cleanly than to sulk and brood in ways that simply prolong the agony.
