Ethel Doyle, 77, of Humboldt, passed away on Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines.

It was a perfect day to golf - the temperature was in the mid-70s with little wind - for the 10 North Central Conference girls' golf teams competing for the league championship yesterday at the Webster City Links.

Eunice A. Blomker, 86, of Humboldt, passed away April 22, 2013 at the Long Term Care Unit of the Humboldt County Memorial Hospital.
