Topeka teen arrested after social media threat puts Royal Valley schools on 'modified lockdown'

A 19-year-old Topeka man was arrested Wednesday after a social media threat put Royal Valley public schools on what officials described as a "modified lockdown," school district officials said. Braden Charles Crowder was arrested in connection with criminal threat and telephone harassment after Royal Valley was locked down late Wednesday morning and into the early afternoon, Jackson County Sheriff Tim Morse said.
