Segments from Wednesday's forum will air on KSIS 1050 AM next week. The Pettis County Treasurer race will be featured at 9 a.m. Monday; the Pettis County Assessor candidates will be broadcast at 9 a.m. Tuesday; Pettis County Eastern Commissioner will air at 9 a.m. Thursday; and Pettis County Western Commissioner will air at 9 a.m. Thursday.

Casey M. Short, 18, of Slater, was driving north on U.S. Highway 65 when she swerved to avoid a vehicle driven by Rebecca L. Manuel, 47, of Houstonia, causing Short to overcorrect, hit Manuel, drive off the right side of the road, down an embankment and overturn several times, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report.

A missing 18 month old girl was found dead in Central Missouri. Her mother turned up Saturday night disoriented and alone.
