Hoschton installs new election chief

The Hoschton City Council on Monday appointed Assistant City Clerk Karen Butler as an emergency elections superintendent to replace Kristen Mahan, who stepped down from her post overseeing municipal elections and resigned as city clerk just days before citizens finish casting ballots to choose a new mayor.
