Duke brings first 820 megawatts online at natural gas plant

Some two and a half years after it broke ground, Duke Energy's new $1.5 billion combined-cycle natural gas plant is partly online. Duke last Friday brought the first 820 megawatts online at the plant off U.S. 19 north of Crystal River.
