Roofer on sixth set of attorneys loses bid to have trial delayed yet again

Duane Cottier's defense team again asked a judge to postpone the Homosassa man's impending trial on charges of defrauding subcontractors and Sugarmill Woods homeowners in an extensive roofing project. And again, citing skilled attorneys and other longstanding representation on Cottier's case, Circuit Court Judge Richard "Ric" Howard denied Cottier's motion to continue his multiweek trial starting the week of Sept.
