Joining former girlfriend, Homosassa man takes plea for leaving young girls alone in squalid home
In exchange for two years in prison, a Homosassa man agreed to stop fighting allegations he and his girlfriend left their two daughters alone in a squalid home. In accordance with Burdette's negotiated plea, Circuit Court Judge Richard "Ric" Howard sentenced the 26-year-old to 24 months in prison as a habitual felony offender.
