Stop the perverted Communist Republicans.
The scandal, investigated by Nebraska State Senator Loran Schmit, his assistant John DeCamp (a former GOP state senator), State Senate Committee investigator Gary Caradori, and former CIA Director William Colby, reached the very top echelons of the George H. W. Bush administration and GOP. Child prostitutes from Boys Town and other orphanages in Nebraska as well as children procured from China were reportedly flown to Washington for sexcapades with Republican politicians. GOP lobbyist Craig Spence and a number of GOP officials in the administration and Congress were implicated in the scandal, including Labor Secretary Elizabeth Dole's liaison to the White House. Young male members of the military in Washington, DC, were particularly sought after by the prostitution ring. During the early 1980s, a number of naval officers were implicated in a child pornography ring that extended from Oregon to the San Francisco Bay area and to Chicago and Washington, DC. The story about that ring was covered up by then-Secretary of the Navy John Lehman. The Nebraska pedophile scandal was similarly covered up on orders from the highest levels of power in the senior Bush White House. Caradori and his young son were killed in a suspicious plane crash in Illinois in 1990. Colby was found floating dead in the Chesapeake Bay, near his home, in 1996. Craig Spence allegedly committed suicide in 1989. Witnesses, many of whom were abused themselves, were intimidated and subsequently jailed in Nebraska and the investigation of the pedophile scandal eventually collapsed. The entire military aspect of the King-Spence scandal is now being repeated in Washington in Gannongate. |

Yet more proof that Hollywood is in deterioration. Hey, how do you reconcile the flip flop on the delegates getting a full vote now that the competition is out of the picture?????
Thats a fair and balanced electorial process! What a bunch of lemmings! |

How do you figure a presidential candidate opening campaign offices in Hollywood is an indicator of deterioration? If anything, it's a sign of justthe opposite. Hollywood must be strategically important. Sounds like maybe you're just bitter. Wow. SO bitter! |

Preston you are 100% correct. I usually yse the words Tired, Fed Up to describe the Hypocrisy in our political leadership.
This guy could care less about South Florida before, now that the party race is all but decided, he comes around herding the sheep. This 2 party system in the US is badly broken. Bitter is OK too. |

Bitter for the right reasons is ok, I guess.:-) And of course he doesn't care about Florida, beyond its electoral votes and what he has to do to secure them, the people of Florida may as well not even exist. It's a fairly well proven tactic that "feet on the ground" helps A LOT in any campaign, and more local offices means more feet on the ground. It's encouraging news to Obama supporters, and really, to all liberals and independents, and the 80% of polled Americans who are unhappy with the current direction the country is moving in, that Obama is spending money to increase his presence in what is considered a 'battleground' state. And if he wins Florida and Ohio or Pennsylvania, we can all go to bed early on election night.:-) |

I have one question. What change are you talking about? I was born and raised in Chicago and have seen first hand the lies and corruption of the Democratic machine to which Obama is part of. If you think Obama is going to give you the type of change he promises and you seek, you have to be one of the most gullible people on the face of the earth. If Obama can't control the Clintons, what makes you think he'd be able to be succesful in negotiating with Iran's Ahmadinejad, Russia's Medvedev (Controlled by Putin), Venezuela's Chavez, etc. |

It's a testament to just how awful a president Bush was that people are looking to Obama to fix the mess he created. It's really the people who think McCain would do things any differently than Bush has who are "the most gullible people on the face of the earth." |
Obviously you were not at the enormous rally he held at BankAtlantic Center a few months ago. Over 15,000 people showed up to hear him speak......that doesn't indicate to me that he could care less about South Florida. Sounds to me like you are a scared Republican or a frustrated Hilary supporter. No McBush...Obama all the way!!!! |

I don't know if you're conditioned to it by Bush's style of government, but you are scared over nothing. Or else you're making lame excuses. Or else you weren't aware of how Obama's level of expierience puts him in the company of some of our greatest presidents. http://jaydiatribe.blogspot.com/2007/03/barac... "Obama’s “inexperience” is a myth. He is right in the mainstream of all five presidents listed [Lincoln, Kennedy, Reagan, Carter, Bush]. At twelve years, his experience in elective office would beat all but John Kennedy’s. Obama is also in the mainstream of the five presidents with regard to age. On assuming office he would be four years older than John Kennedy. He would be right in the middle of the collective inaugural ages of Lincoln, Kennedy, Carter and George W. Bush. In only one respect is Obama’s experience “light.” Unlike Carter, Reagan, and the younger Bush, Obama has never governed a state. But in this respect he is like Lincoln---our greatest president---and like Kennedy, one of our most inspiring and beloved leaders." So. What's the REAL reason you're scared of Obama? |
