Also at the breakfast, sponsored by F&M Trust, Cindy Edwards was honored as Teacher of the Year.
"I'd always wanted to be a teacher, but never had the chance," said Edwards, whose classroom is in St. Thomas. "I can't think of a better job."

Now that needs clarifying:'but never had the chance'? We gentle readers need to understand what follows that. Is she a much older woman who went to college later in life? What? She IS a teacher. No?(Maybe I need one more coffee;)

Wonderful for Mrs. Thomas Worthy! Sad that even today some ignorant people try to put others down. WELCOME to Chambersburg and I hope you soon feel that you like living here.(And you left San! Francisco! to come here?) The article doesn't say where you are employed - would be nice to know. Maybe our paths will cross and I'll say hello. Meantime, I hope you do feel welcome here and please tell your mother what a wonderful job she did, too, because without her, like so many mothers in any given situation, she made a crucial and brilliant decision for you!! You are beautiful, inside and out, it's obvious!!!
