Colder weather means Boston Mills, Brandywine, Alpine Valley ski resorts hope to open this weekend
Local ski resort operators are eager to bid farewell to December's record-high temperatures - and get on with the snow. Josh Boyd, general manager of Northeast Ohio's three ski resorts, said temperatures should be low enough late Thursday and Friday to start up snowmaking machines across the properties.
