Man charged with drug trafficking
A Carter County man was arrested on drug-trafficking charges Saturday after sheriff's deputies found him passed out in his vehicle at the Cannonsburg Wal-Mart. Ronald E. Sammons, 44, of Hitchins, was charged with trafficking within 1,000 yards of a school, first- and third-degree drug trafficking and possession of drug paraphernalia.
