Party all you want but DO NOT get behind the wheel. I see on the news that there is free rides available in the Metro area. For those of us in the outstate there is Sober Cab in some communities and there is always a buddy you can call. If not expand your circle of friends.

Please use your sober judgement before you drive.

I've heard of free cab services or maybe it was bus services on St. Patty's Day. I think the state should definately provide free public transportation on holidays like this. Find a sober cab before you go out & celebrate people, it's a whole lot cheaper than a DWI.

Why should the state provide free public transportation? Make your transportation costs a part of your booze budget.

Taxpayers shouldn't pay for it, the people using it should pay for it, just like a regular cab. It's not expensive relative to the bar, so if you can afford to get drunk, you should be able to afford the cab.

Alternatively, if the bars were willing to pay, that'd be different. But good luck with that.

Free transportation for drunks. A real incentive for responsible behavior. Are you advocating an even greater nanny state?

If you can afford to drink at a bar, you can afford to get a cab home.

They probably would but then your drinks are going to go up a couple bucks a shot. Pay me now or pay me later.

Now if they would do their job and arrest the illegals who ain't got a license and deport their lazy a**es we could all make it home alive. Won't happen though because the DFL commies at the capitol want them illegals to vote for Hillary and Obama and need their illegal votes to win the white house!

You should never drink and drive. I never have had a problem finding someone to take me home.
