Howard County to rewrite development regulations after nearly 40 years
The Howard County Department of Planning and Zoning is launching a rewrite of its hefty development regulations, which saw its last major update in the 1970s. The nearly three-year process will clarify, consolidate and revise regulations in an effort to modernize the county's nearly 500-page zoning regulations and other manuals and documents that guide land use and development.
