High Bridge man arrested after admitting to stealing car
A High Bridge man was arrested after he told police he had just stolen a car. James Thompson, 20, was charged with receiving stolen property after he was stopped by police on Route 31 at about 11:10 p.m. July 3. Police say Patrolman Christopher Weaver saw a 2004 Suzuki sedan on Route 173 with its blue emergency light activated.
High Bridge considers moving offices
The 100-year-old High Bridge Borough Hall may soon go on the market. The council is considering moving its municipal offices out of 71 Main St.
Two plays in the park set for this summer in Tewksbury
The Oldwick Community Players will present two plays in the park this summer.
