A DeKalb County inmate escaped from custody Monday and was found hours later. Sheriff Jimmy Harris said inmate Ronald E. Pick slipped away from a work detail on County Road 731 near Sequoyah Caverns around 7:30 a.m., but authorities had him back in custody in less than three hours.
