A 54-year-old Hickory Corners man was killed Friday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash in the 13000 block of M-96 in Charleston Township.

A serious accident shut down M-96 in Augusta Friday. The Kalamazoo County Sheriff's Department says that the accident occurred around 3:50 Friday afternoon, when a white SUV was driving erratically on eastbound M-96, crossed the center line and struck an Allied Waste Truck, which was traveling westbound.
