Shooting wounds city man

Any shooting that takes place in the early hours of the morning is either drug or alcohol related. With the exception of the ocassional jealous husband,(but my schedule was clear last night).

After it's all over I hope they lock em' all away the victim and the Perp, they know what they were up to.
Of course we have all these wanna be gangsters but getting shot is in BOLD print in their gangster application.

8th and guilford what else could it be but drugs? When are the police going to do something about the drug problem in this city?It is all over the city and nothing is being done, Lets hope and pray the new mayor gets rid of dan wright and the puppet regime we have had for years and appoints somebody who is tuff on crime!!!

Was there a soccer game involved?

Keep pouring federal money into low income housing in the city and continue to watch the drug and violent crime rates rise.

This is only going to escalate, case in point-Harrisburg. Next Lebanon's mayor will be whining to the state cops for assistance in cleaning up the mean streets. Isn't this a shame! Lebanon could be a very historic, lovely little town except for the criminal element, and then of course, there's the felons on the streets as well.

I believe the helicopter as an ambulance is now being overused. It is an extravagant expense.
Are we saving perhaps 10 minutes from a drive down PA72S, PA241S, and US322W ?

Who is paying for this particular flight ?
The victim ?
The perp, when identified and arrested ?
Or....... you and you and you and me ?

Yeah, this town is a disaster. We have, what, one shooting every six or nine months? Wow.

this is crazy. i heard the gun shot and seen the man fall now what if a child was out side. i think that we need to get rid of this damn mayor and get a new one. one that wont put billboards up in places telling people to come here to live its cheep. this town is nothing but a scum and its getting worse every day.

What if a child was outside? At 1:30 in the morning? And where are those billboards? Give us an address.

I love it how every time there is a shooting, people come on here to cry about how bad Lebanon is -- how its a "cesspool" or a "disaster" and getting worse every day. Look people, Lebanon has its share of problems, but it's nowhere near as bad as Harrisburg, Reading or Lancaster, and I won't even mention Philly, New York or Baltimore. I'd be willing to be that some of the people making these claims don't even live in the city.

But I will admit there is room for improvement. Perhaps moving the police station from its current location to somewhere closer to where all the crime is taking place is an answer. Maybe take some of that stimulus money that the city got to buy condemned houses and renovate and sell them and use it instead to knock a couple of them houses down and build a new police station.

I agree Lebanon is not a bad town compared to Harrisburg , Reading , Lamcaster and York.

Let me ask anyone out there --- What does all these Citys have in common ?

How do you think crime got to be so out of control in the cities you mentioned, where they always like that?

The reason we all complain is becasue we do not want it to become like those towns. Maybe you are personally ok with One murder ayear a few rapes and some roberries, but One is one Two many! If you are ok with crime however minute the amount you should move to somewhere were you can look the other way. WE refuse to look the other way and believe that there is an aceptable level of murders, child molestation or rape as you implied.

Remember, No single raindrop believes it is to blame for the flood.
