Buildings on the old campus of the Human Services Center in Yankton may be getting another chance.

The Campbell County Commission accepted a resignation and agreed to purchase a slightly used road grader in action at their meeting on Feb.

The bill would allow schools to arm staff if districts want. The armed staff would have to first undergo training.

The South Dakota Highway Patrol says 27-year-old Bobby Allan Vargo was going south on U.S. Highway 83 two miles south of Herreid when his vehicle entered the east shoulder, hit an approach and rolled.

A South Dakota man accused of hunting violations has been ordered in federal court to pay more than $13,000 in restitution and fines.
