I hope people don't take this to mean veterans are all evil. We should remember there are bad apples in very occupation from teachers to priests to politicians to even police officers.
Too bad he was ex military. Military law tends to be stricter on these matters than civilian law. He could have gotten one hundred years instead of the twenty he'll get under California's civilian law. |

We ought not rush to judgment. He doesn't know they were at fault. Remember how naive we all were when we were that age.(The age of the girls, not the perpetrator.) And put ourselves in their shoes and try to see this from their perspective. It sounds like the guy did this for purely selfish reasons. |
