Today between 8:30 pm through 12:30 am, the Sheriff's Dept. harassed the residents of an apartment tagged as belonging to "usual suspects". Sure, these particular residents don't hide their disdain for the Sheriff's Dept. and often find themselves "posted" off the balcony...but today, it was straight harassment and abuse of all kinds.
To start..street parking for residents alone is a ****. When the Sheriff's Dept. comes in...it's a total area block down. Preventing residents from coming in and going out of streets. A total inconvenience that they will justify with as "tactical" or some **** that we just have to accept because who are we mere tax payers to question their authority. Right..? Well..they were here today. First to support what seemed to be a medical emergency call. When the medical vehicles drove away, the Sheriff's Dept. squad cars were up and down the streets blocking hundreds of yards of parked cars belonging to residents who were starting to return home after closing out the day. I mean, they were here for hours on the claim that they were fired upon. Dishing out condescending shouts at curious residents and simply being a rude inconvenience and unjustified waste of tax payer resources. If anyone becomes a bit more driven to pursue this, I suggest you pull rank on the Sheriff's Dept. and ask for a copy of the police report that should have been recorded based on procedural policy and you will find that the UNWARRANTED intrusion of a residence and arrest of at least one person who in the end I know for a fact had nothing to do with anything being fired at the officers. Nothing.........

I've been living there all my life. I have never been into gangs or any type of things that relate to that. But yet for some reason i have the cops racially profile me because i have a bold head. They always seem to pull me over for no reason. Im a father of two and still they harass me for no reason. Personally i think we should just get rid of the sheriff right there and try to reinstate the police department that we used to have.
