Residents of 80th Street and Bay Terrace are one step closer to realizing relief from the traffic that they say clogs their streets.

The House of Representatives' Appropriations Subcommittee has earmarked $600,000 for the ongoing Long Beach Island beach replenishment project in the Energy and Water Appropriations bill Thursday.

HARVEY CEDARS - To ease parking woes near the public boat ramp on Bay Terrace, the borough's Board of Commissioners said they will consider an ordinance during the June 16 meeting that would ban people from parking boat trailers on Bay Terrace and 80th Street.
