Jerry Passehl, of Latimer, has been collecting cars since he was 14 years old. LATIMER -- A northern Iowa man has put his lifelong collection of old and classic cars up for auction, but he said his car collecting days are far from over.

Yvette VanDerBrink, owner of VanDerBrink Auctions in Hardwick, Minn., has written her first book, 'My Mom Looks Like a Turtle.' The children's book about cancer was written after VanDerBrink was diagnosed with breast cancer in November 2007 and underwent surgery, chemotherapy and radiation.
