Is this the best you can do for a story...chairs being put out a few hours before allowed??
I am upset only because I will never get the three minutes of my life back that it took to read this crap someone chalked up as "news".
I assume you leave the office on nights like these feeling like you are wasting your talents on stories like this. For your own good, get a job in a bigger market asap, you and your fellow writers are selling yourself short.

I hope the new Mayor of York doesn't get wind of this. It will become York's newest form of snatching money from the taxpayers to fill the city coffers.

GOOD!!! I live in Hanover and it absolutely SUCKS that I can't sit in front of my own place because some waahoo has staked a claim to my front yard. I don't think you should be able to put chairs out at all unless you live on Baltimore Street. I actually saw someone with MD tags putting out chairs a block down from me. WTF???? Really?

If someone leaves a gift outside of your home you should use it if you have a need of it, if not just gather the gifts and donate them to charity. Homeowners are responsible for maintaining and keeping the sidewalks in front of their homes debris free.

The title was not enough to, at the very least, give you a hint as what was to come?

You are right. But shouldn't your city or town officials be more worried about the rise in violent crime in your town. The newspapers reports are showing that you have unsual violent crime activity in Hanover. Better take care of that problem first before your town ends up like a York City. Then parades and chairs will be the least of your worries.

They should come along a hour before the parade and pickup the chairs and take them to the dump and abandoned garbage. I never cottoned to the idea of reserving your seat. If you want a spot along the route, plant yourself. But you shouldn't be allowed to sit chairs there to reserve your spot. You can't place something in the street to save your parking space.

OMG, Is this what the police need to control, I would have hoped that they would have spent that time fighting crime of a different source. like break ins, drugs. I guess next will have to be high grass, paint chips, or dare to say, Christmas lights.

Daily Horoscope for December 29

Aries

There are mixed messages flying around in the ether today, so be wary about drawing any concrete conclusions from what happens now. Even though you don't realize it, you may be misreading the signs that someone is sending out, which will lead to complications later on. Be especially careful about indulging in romantic daydreams and then believing them.
