Seven-town chase suspect faces multiple charges

As a local man awaits indictment on felony charges connected with a seven-town high-speed chase, two police departments are preparing to take him to trial on several misdemeanor offenses. Donald Smith, 23, of Seabrook, appeared in Seabrook District Court on Wednesday to be arraigned on the Hampton Falls and Seabrook misdemeanors he faces for his actions following a traffic stop in Hampton Falls on July 12. Smith is now scheduled to go to trial at 11 a.m. Nov. 19 on Hampton Falls' operating after suspension , disobeying a police officer, conduct after an accident and reckless operation charges and Seabrook's reckless driving and disobeying a police officer charges.
