Candidate transfers about $18,000 from primary campaign to general election coffers

HAMMONTON -- Sam Mento III, a Democratic candidate for the Fifth District Atlantic County freeholder seat, has transferred nearly $18,000 from his primary campaign to his current campaign against incumbent Republican Jim Curcio, according to recently filed campaign finance reports Mento reported transferring $17,929.76 from his primary campaign.
